Terms & Conditions
For Goods purchased after 13th July 2010

Making a Purchase - is a simple process just browse our website and add the items into the shopping cart. Once you have selected your required items proceed to ‘checkout’ you will be asked relevant details including delivery and contact details to ensure your order can be processed efficiently. We accept most major debit and credit cards.
Orders can be placed via the telephone with a member of our sales team or on our secure website. You will receive by email a confirmation that your order has been received. The confirmation gives notice that your order has been received. The confirmation does not indicate that a contract exists between us at this point. When the dispatch notification is sent or at the point that www.redbrickworkwear.co.uk telephones you to arrange delivery (whichever occurs soonest) is the point of contract. This term is included to protect www.redbrickworkwear.co.uk  in the event that a pricing error has been made, or we are no longer able to supply the goods for a particular reason. If there is an amendment to pricing, we will contact you to ensure that this is acceptable. Order confirmations will be sent within 24 hours of point of order. (Excluding weekend, bank holidays or any other business closure dates).

Delivery Charges
Shipping and Handling: We will deliver your goods with our own driver or by a courier of our choice. Some areas of the UK do incur an extra delivery cost these include off shore destinations for example Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. Other areas include certain parts of Scotland. Examples include Inverness and Aberdeenshire and postcodes beginning with IV, KW, PA, AB, DD, PH and certain PO postcodes. Please refer to the drop down bar at point of order for delivery costs (not all destinations are listed). Destinations that are not listed but incur extra delivery costs will be contacted by our Dispatch Team to discuss any additional costs. Delivery Schedule – We shall endeavour to deliver your goods within a quick timescale as we carry many items in stock. In the event of a delay we shall contact you to discuss the potential turnaround, if this is for any reason not acceptable a full refund will be offered.

Smaller items 
These will be dispatched to the address of your choice and generally require a signature as confirmation of receipt.

Larger Items
We will endeavour to deliver all items using our courier service. Please see the paragraph below. You will receive communication via telephone to confirm a delivery date. Please ensure that all the contact information that you provide is for mobile telephone numbers and email addresses that are checked on a regular basis. This is to ensure that you are fully aware of your delivery status. If a delivery date is agreed and no-one is available to accept the goods, there may be a charge for re-delivery. Larger items that are delivered on a faster turnaround such as next working day deliveries will be sent via a pallet network company.Please ensure that a person capable of assisting with the delivery, i.e. some who can move the items onwards to a suitable storage point is present as some goods can be awkward or heavy to handle due to their size. Please ensure that someone is available as agreed, as re-delivery of goods may be chargeable. With heavy items the driver will wait while the goods are checked please ensure that you check the goods at point of delivery or within a reasonable period after this.

Receipt of Goods 
Most items that we dispatch require a signature therefore we ask that a responsible person takes receipt of the goods. Couriers are unable to leave goods with a minor. Larger items that are sent on a next, working day delivery will be delivered to the nearest viable point. For example if it is a block of flats the main entrance door. Please ensure in this type of situation that the person present is able to deal with the delivery including moving it to its final destination, i.e. inside the property as this type of delivery is delivered generally by one man only.

Goods Received Condition and Shortages 
Please ensure that you check your delivery to ensure that all items are present. Shortages should be reported immediately in order that we can rectify them for you, shortages must be reported with a 24 hour period of receiving the delivery. If a shortage is discovered outside of office hours, please email sales@redbrickworkwear.co.uk Items that are delivered must be inspected as thoroughly as possible at point of delivery to ensure that they are correct and intact. Glass and ceramic items must be checked at point of delivery before giving a signature for them as any damages cannot be rectified after this point. All other items must be checked within a reasonable time. Please email sales@redbrickworkwear.co.uk. Writing the words unchecked or not giving a clear signature does not negate the responsibility of the recipient.

Credit Card Security 
When an order is placed on our website credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. These details are only decrypted when they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Privacy Policy 
www.redbrickworkwear.co.uk does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case the third party will not disclose any of your details to another third party. www.redbrickworkwear.co.uk may send you information which we feel may benefit you from time to time either by email or by post. Cookies are used on this site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart including your delivery address. The address book is used to store your details in the ‘remember me’ section should you select it. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. Cookies can be switched off within your browser by going to ‘Tools – Internet Options – Privacy’ select to block cookies. If this option is selected you will not be able to place orders or benefit from other features that cookies benefit.

Returns Policy 
Redbrick Workwear are happy to accept items back that are not suitable. Please ensure that the following process is followed: 1) Written confirmation is given of your intention to return the goods email is the most acceptable format. Please email sales@redbrickworkwear.co.uk. 2) Goods must not have been in your possession for a period in excess of 7 working days starting at point of signature. 3) Goods must be fit for resale and with the original packaging. If points 1-3 are met our customer services team will reply to your correspondence. You will be asked to complete a returns form. Once this is sent to us our customer services team will liaise with you to agree how and when the goods will be returned. It is with regret that goods that are clearly unfit for resale will not be accepted back. A returns reference will be provided by our customer service team. Please ensure that this is quoted on the returned item (please do not write this on the original packaging). Carriage costs for returning items rests with the sender. Larger orders over £250 will incur a 25% handling and restocking fee. Items that have been used will not be accepted back. Your right to return goods is protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. Cancellations will be charged at 1.5% of the total value of the purchase made if paid by credit card. 

Order Amendments - If you wish to amend your order please contact us immediately. A member of our sales team will talk through the amendments. Orders that require amendment and have already been dispatched may incur additional delivery charges. Amending an order may on occasion delay the delivery time any additional monies will be collected at point of amendment. Amended orders will be charged at the current selling price. 

Refunds Any refunds will be made directly to the person who made the original order. Refunds will be sent directly back to the card that the original payment was placed on. All refunds will be credited in accordance with distance selling regulations and in any event no later than 28 days after cancellation notification. 

Delivery promotions
www.redbrickworkwear.co.uk may at different times run promotions for reduced delivery costs. These are applicable for mainland UK residents. Exceptions to these offers include residents in the following postcode area's. IV, AB, PH, KW,DD, PA. This list is not exhaustive.

Bespoke/Embroided Order Items 
These items cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded once payment has been taken. Payments cannot be refunded for the goods due to their specific nature. Items, of this nature include embroided/printed clothing. Other bespoke items include products that are adapted or made in any way to specifically suite an individual client. 

WEE Regulations - WEEE Regulations: 
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites. Redbrick Workwear are obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. For example, if a customer bought a new electric shower from us we would accept their old electric shower and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
